Brent leads revenue and operations for Thinknear and brings an accomplished track record of driving the growth of companies in rapidly evolving categories.

Prior to Thinknear, Brent served as VP of Global Sales at Clear Channel and Head of Sales, Americas for Nokia Location & Commerce. Earlier, he started his career in mobile as the founding VP of Sales at IPSH! – one of the first mobile marketing firms in the U.S. (eventually acquired by Omnicom). He then became an executive at video tech company Maven Networks (acquired by Yahoo!) and ran Global Sales at video network Metacafe (acquired by Collective Digital Studios).

Brent is based out of Thinknear’s Silicon Valley office and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, three little kids, and 100lb. dog.

Brett sets the strategic vision and product roadmap for our location-based marketing platform while overseeing all of the product, marketing, and engineering functions at Thinknear.

While Brett has worked in start-up and enterprise environments alike, he’s always been passionate about building great products and driving marketing strategy in high-growth industries. As a mobile and location evangelist, Brett works with the IAB, MMA, and other leading marketers to develop tools, research, and industry initiatives enabling marketers to more effectively engage with mobile consumers. Prior to Thinknear, Brett developed monetization strategy for Telenav and led growth strategy efforts as a management consultant for a number of Fortune 1000 brands including United Airlines and General Mills.

Brett is based in Silicon Valley where he and his wife spend their time chasing two toddler daughters while negotiating for matching shoes.

Vice President of Product


Gabriel is an accomplished product management executive who leads the design and development of Thinknear’s data product strategy and self-service platform.

Just before joining Thinknear, Gabriel served as Head of Social at where he managed and created a social content and advertising platform for enterprise businesses. Prior, he was the Vice President of Product Management at Evite where he designed their first premium paid service. As a pioneer in developing local strategies, he spearheaded the creation of the first radius-based search engines and shaped numerous other technologies, such as video evidence capture, storage, and playback service offerings, and was a key member of the team that launched

Gabriel has been married for 12 years and spends most of this time with his two boys playing sports, games, and going on camping trips.

Vice President of Engineering


Elmar directs the engineering, analytics, and data science functions for Thinknear, where he leads the development of technologies with an eye on new products and revenue drivers.

Elmar has used technology to drive growth across his career. Prior to Thinknear, he worked at DogVacay, a pet services platform, where he built data engineering and analytics departments from scratch. In March 2017, DogVacay merged with Rover and raised a $65M funding round on the strength of that acquisition. Elmar also held various key positions at Edmunds, a car research site, where he helped it to grow from a $6M startup to a mature $150M+ corporation.

Elmar lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He loves walks along the ocean, reading and going to the movies (when he is not busy entertaining his kids, which is almost always).

Vice President of Marketing


Mandana brings over 16 years of ad agency expertise to Thinknear where she oversees the company’s marketing strategies and creative vision across both brand positioning and communications.

Prior to Thinknear, Mandana held senior-level positions leading media practices at Fallon, Ogilvy, Group M, and Kastner & Partners—and has led digital media for iconic global brands such as Activision, Red Bull, Porsche, Cisco, and Qualcomm among others. Mandana has been the strategic media force behind many high-profile brand platform launches. She currently co-chairs the Location Committee of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) where she champions industry-wide education and innovation in the use of location data and intelligence.

Mandana is an avid reader, music-lover, and world-traveler, but above anything else she loves spending time with her husband and their two children.

Vice President of Business Development


With 20 years of experience in business development, sales, and advertising operations, Peter oversees the growth and expansion of Thinknear’s business relationships.

Peter has held key leadership roles at Kiip, Miniclip America, Flixster, and Fox Interactive Media. Prior to joining Thinknear, Peter served as COO at Kiip Inc. where he oversaw business development, programmatic, and data strategy. While at Miniclip, Peter established and oversaw the growth of their advertising operations and technology. He joined Miniclip America from Flixster, where as Director of Advertising Services, he oversaw account management, advertising operations, and sales support teams.

Before Flixster, Peter was the Executive Director of Advertising Solutions at Fox Interactive Media. At Fox Interactive he was responsible for the conceptualization, development, and product management of ad products and strategies for all FIM Sites including Myspace and IGN Entertainment.
